ReplyDelete1) The tunnels and passageways were make to help the slaves hide or to get to the porch and dinnging room safely and unseen.
2) Thomas was scared because there was something in the cave. What i would have done was i would see what is was.
3) I think Thomas thought is was a ghost and I think it is too.
4)I think Mr. Smalls removed the control because he saw something down there and didn't what Thomas to find out more.

If I were in the tunnel, I would have either ran in circles and screamed at the top of my lungs flailing my arms or try to find the flashlight and pointed it all around the tunnel until I see a ghost THEN run in circles and scream at the top of my lungs while flailing my arms.
